Well, this year we celebrated Halloween a day early. Our church does a fall festival every year that is HUGE! Thousands of people flow into the parking lot where they have games for all ages, blow up slides and climbing walls, mobile video gaming, haunted buses, and trunk or treat. They also serve dinner for a small cost. At the end of the evening they draw numbers and give out prizes. This year the prizes consisted of a Wii console, Nintendo DS, $100 gift cards to Toys R Us, and ipods. Of course, with thousands of numbers...we couldn't be so lucky as to take any of the prizes home in our family! It's a pretty amazing event, and it's so great to see so many people from the community come and enjoy a safe evening out. So why a day early this year? Well...the church uses a lot of the high school parking because the festival takes up the majority of the church parking. Friday, Halloween night, was a big football game! We wouldn't have had the parking necessary had we done it the night of Halloween.
After receiving an offer to go out to dinner on Halloween...we decided not to get dressed up for a second evening of fun and went to dinner in Austin instead! The kids approved...don't worry!
Tyler the Police officer. Last year he dressed on the other side of the law as a bandit...What might next year hold?
Ahhhhhh! Cheers ring out! IT'S HANNAH MONTANA!!!! You probably never knew we were so close. I don't like to brag...but she comes to visit...like...everyday!
This little girl dreams of being a cheerleader one day! Well...at least she got that chance on Halloween!
A little mini golf!
