Our church hosted a game night...similar to the kids game programs on television. Tyler was invited on stage to participate in one of the games. They had a donut hanging on a hook...and the goal was to eat the most out of the donut without having it fall off the hook. Tyler was doing great! He was within seconds of having the bell go off...and his last bite got hooked on his teeth...pulling the donut off the hook! Even though the donut fell and his team lost...he still won in our book. We were so proud of him for even getting up on the stage and participating! The only problem was...he asked the man if he could have the donut that had fallen on the floor...in which the man replied...'where is Tyler's mom? Next time mom...you need to feed this kid dinner!' Well, I had fed him dinner...but I've also taught him...you never let a good donut go to waste! :)
